We’re Expanding Announcing The Steam Shop Glasgow Central in Maryhill

We have some incredibly exciting news to share with all our valued customers! Thanks to your continued support, our business is taking a huge step forward: we have officially opened our second shop!

We’ve taken over the local laundrette formerly known as The Iron Lady, located on Clarendon Place in Maryhill, and re-branded the location as The Steam Shop Glasgow Central. Whether you’re a longtime customer from Hyndland Road or a Maryhill local looking for a reliable, top-quality laundry service, we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors.

Here is everything you need to know about our expansion and what it means for you.

1. Our Hyndland Road Flagship Remains Unchanged

First things first: for our regular Hyndland Road customers, nothing changes at our original shop!

Our flagship location will continue to operate with the exact same team, opening hours, and full range of premium laundry and dry cleaning services you rely on every week. It’s business as usual in the West End—just with an extra location supporting us behind the scenes!

2. Hello, Maryhill! Welcome to The Steam Shop Glasgow Central

Our new branch, The Steam Shop Glasgow Central on Clarendon Place, gives us a fantastic second location in a vibrant part of Glasgow.

Best of all for local residents? The brilliant team from The Iron Lady is staying on! You’ll still see the exact same friendly, experienced faces behind the counter—now backed by our expanded resources and high standards of service. From everyday wash-and-fold services and duvet cleaning to delicate care and commercial laundry, you can expect the same warm welcome and expert care every single time.

3. Laundry Collection & Delivery Across Glasgow

One of the biggest benefits of adding The Steam Shop Glasgow Central as a second hub is what it means for our door-to-door collection and delivery service.

• Book Today: Existing collection and delivery slots are open and ready to book right now at www.thesteamshop.uk/book.

• Coming in the Next Few Weeks: We are setting up brand-new routes, expanded postcodes, and even more flexible time slots across greater Glasgow to make our pick-up service even more convenient for your schedule.

• Faster Turnaround: Extra capacity across both shops means your clean laundry gets back to you faster than ever.
